If you bought this from us and the LED does NOT light up when connected – contact us on email@example.com and we will send you a new kit.
Factory sent us LED-displays that demands 7.5V to turn on while the output in the K40 is 5V – they are specified to work within 4-30V so we did not notice this when testing after soldering.
We currently do now know which orders has these LED´s installed – if you received one that doesn´t turn on – email us for a new kit or refund!
With the analog K40 lasers the pot to set the power level is very bad, hard to set exact value.
This is a upgrade kit, with a small digital display and a multi-turn potentiometer. This makes it easier to set the power level by higher resolution on every turn.
The display shows a value between 0 and 5.00
Easy for you to remember a value for cutting, turn the potentiometer to that value and go!
The kit is pre-assembled, you only need to replace the old potentiometer with this one.
It´s also possible to upgrade from digital panel to this upgrade instead.
On your power supply you have 5V, IN and GND.
Black to GND (black connector)
Red to 5V (red connector)
Blue cable to IN (white connector)
